Last full day of trip

Our only full day in Rome is also our last full day in Italy. We got up early, had a quick breakfast, and headed to Vatican City where we had a tour scheduled. We met our tour group and entered the Vatican museum followed by the Sistine chapel, St Peters square and the Basilica. Its too bad you cant take photos in the sistine chapel but it was cool to see We were able to take photos in the museum and basilica but there were soooooo many people there!! From there we had a short van ride to center of Rome where we started a walking tour of all the big landmarks- the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Forum, the Colisseum and many other sites It was 7 hours of walking tour with lunch in the middle We were exhaustes by the time we ended at the Colisseum. We took the metro back to our hotel, quickly changed clothes and headed to a 6pm dinner reservation at Ciposso (found in Michelin guide) We had a nice dinner and walked back to hotel where we rested our tired feet!! We head home tomorrow on floght to Munich together and then Missy goes to Phoenix thru Denver and i go straight to SFO. it was a very memorable trip!
